Talking New to Dodge

Drove Power Stroke for 6 years. Did not want a new FORD, they can not decide what engine they want to use. I bought my Dodge used with 17,000 miles on it and LOVE it. My truck has three nice lables on it "TEXAS TRAILAR TOW" so I assume that besides the bed liner somethings may have been added, like a transmission cooler. I do not were or know what they look like. Could I get some help with that? The only negitive I have heard from two of my friends who drive Dodges is the transmission overheating.
Is there anything else I need to look out for besides regular maintenance?
Any help or sugestions would be appricated.

Wow, your first post, welcome aboard!

Unfortunately, I can't help with your questions. You might have better luck if you post in the 3rd generation forum. Here is the run down:

1989-1993: 1st Generation
1994-2002: 2nd Generation (1994-1998 is 12-valve, and 1998.5-2002 is 24-valve)
2003- and Up: 3rd Generation

Again, congratulations on your new truck, and good luck.

Congrats on the new ride! However the change to the 6.4 is not because Ford "cant decide on what engine to use" ...it's because they had to change to meet the new emissions, just the same reason for the new 6.7 Cummins as well as the Duramax getting a lot of revisions.
