New Cummins Lift Pump is on..
Got my pump installed this morning.
My pressure went from 9-idle,7-cruise, 5-wot to 14.5-idle, 12-cruise, 9-wot. The truck seems to have a little more power now too. ;D I should have my chrome exhaust turndown tip this week. That should give me a few horses too..

Sounds good!
I'm hoping to get the same results because my psi numbers are a little lower than what yours were. I have an appointment to get mine "officially tested" on Tuesday morning. I'm seeing 9@idle-7@cruise and have dropped it to 3.5@WOT :'(
Gave up on the dealership where I bought it after repeated attempts to get any information or cooperation from the service manager who finally told me that even if it was bad, it was NOT covered under the 5yr/100k warranty. >
I stopped by another dealership (Starr Motors in Suffolk, VA) and after talking with the service advisor for 5 minutes, she walked out to the truck to get the VIN, ran it on the computer, and then informed me,,,,,,,, YES.. it would be covered under warranty if it had to be replaced. ;D And if for some unknown reason, their test results show that they cannot replace it because it does not fit their guidelines for doing so, I will still be satisfied that they have tried.
Now why is it,,,, that this service advisor can be so helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help the owner of a Dodge vehicle when I found completely the opposite at the place where I originally purchased my truck?
I can't answer that question,,,,,,, but I can tell you where I will buy my next CTD at.

Hey Dodgezilla, your comment about your new exhaust turndown caught my attention. How does a turndown add power? I would have thought with the additional slight restriction of another bend, (slight as it is) that this would theoretically REDUCE power a hair rather than add power.
Re:New Cummins Lift Pump is on..
I had my lift pump replaced last weekend. I opted to buy the Cummins pump and have my regular mechanic (not a dealership) install it rather than hassle with the dealership about warranty. (I have 47K miles on the truck) I now have enough pressure at idle to make the gauge stick at the top (16 psi). I have 13.5 at cruise and 10 psi at WOT. I installed an Edge EZ today, and my pressures are still the same, but WOW!, did that little box wake up my CTD. There's a straight and level mile near my house. I got to the beginning, stomped it, was glancing at my gauges, and then the speedo. I was doing 85 before I even realized it. (Lucky no cops around!) By the way, the road has no houses on it. Cherry orchards from one end to the other. And this time of year, the orchards are deserted.

Mexstan, the fact that the turndown points towards the ground makes the truck go faster because of the incredible exhaust pressure which actually propels the truck forward when it hits the ground.
Just kidding as in the original post..... ;D

Yeah. If Dodgezilla's theory is correct his truck will be flying as the exaust directed towards the ground will be pushing his truck UP. Now if he would only face the exhaust bachwards to take advantage of his great theory....
As Rattlinram said, plus I will remember to take a huge shovel with me if I am ever in the area of Dale City. Would I need tire chains also?
