Yesterday I installed my new Special X VP44 from Blue Chip Diesel.

This is an awesome company to deal with. The shipping was fast... I had my new injection pump in 2 days.

The instructions were great. I took my time and had my truck up and running in 3 1/2 hours.

The return of the core is simple as well. Chip supplies the return shipping label and charges are already paid. Just pack the old pump in the box that the new one came in and drop it off to UPS. Couldn't be easier!!

I also installed Chip's "Low Fuel Pressure Warning Light" It was so easy, a caveman could do it.

The Special X can give you up to 23 more HP and 2-3 MPG. All I know is that I can now smoke all four rear wheels which this truck would never do before.

If anyone is in need of a new VP44..... Check with Chip at Blue Chip Diesel!

 

I have gotten a few pumps from chip ,A1 in my book, never a problem pump good people

Is the special x pump like a HRVP?

 

Not sure what a HRVP is??

Chip does not consider this a hot rod VP44 although he does claim that it gives you up to 23 more HP.

The truck is peppier than it was!

He wont void your warranty if u tap the pump wire either
