Need New Lift Pump

I am in need of a new lift pump just found out the guy that done the work on my tranny also replaced the Injector pump but not the Lift pump that probably caused the pump. Also would this be what makes my truck idle up and down when I start. Thanks Again

How do you know the lift pump is bad?

What type of pressures are you seeing? Did you perform a volume test?

The idle up and down is probably the grid heater cycling on and off. It puts a big load on the alternater and slows the engine down a little.

Go with a vulcan kit and pump relocation. Or you could get a glacier diesel lift pump and line kit.

If you want to stay with 3/8" lines, go with the Geno's relocation kit. I found a campaign pump but it crapped out at 30k. Then I went with the Aeromotive 11203. Runs 16psi at idle, 12-13 at 65 and WOT never below 8. Have 25k on it with no problems at all. You can find it at speed shops or Summitt Racing.
Just my 2 cents

Aeromotive 11203 did it just plug right in to the OEM plug or would I be better off getting the pump from cummins?
