My newest nv4500 break....ever see these break?

This is the gear which hooks to the 5th gear shaft/synchronizer. Ripped the teeth completely out of the inside. I thought it was a 5th gear nut.

I'm not proud at all, just amazed that this happened. I never heard of these teeth breaking?

Takes some real power or one grabbin' clutch to clean those bothersome teeth off the gear like that.
