mine was a bad ground in a factory splice. It was located in the frame behind the fuel tank. It grounded the fuel pump and the rear light. Check the wiring from the fuel pump if you pull off the rear tire it gives you some more room. I had to pull the bed off to fix the splice and put a separate ground for the fuel pump.
