My truck is doing the same thing, did you ever fiqure out the problem

Hey my 01 1500 is doing the same thing and getting worse if anybody figured out how to fix please let me know need a definate don't have money to start replacing things on a guess

mine was a bad ground in a factory splice. It was located in the frame behind the fuel tank. It grounded the fuel pump and the rear light. Check the wiring from the fuel pump if you pull off the rear tire it gives you some more room. I had to pull the bed off to fix the splice and put a separate ground for the fuel pump. But that is what fixed mine. Hope that helps, email me if you have any questions. Good luck!

You can pull the fuses for the tail lights brake lights and running lights it'll narrow it down for you.
