Map sensor trouble

Hey whats up. I have a 99 24v that im getting the check engine light on. Code says turbo super boost sensor low voltage. I know that is the Map sensor in other words. Anyways the truck will be fine most of the times but sometimes she drags Edit. The turbo will not spool up until I get real high rpms.
I replaced the sensor. My buddy told me some of those trucks had a wiring problem to the map coming from the firewall. Anybody heard of that. Also I didnt check the wastegate yet, Its a banks big head on it thats fairly new. Also would a boost fooler be any good. Thanks alot for helping me out. Justin

You need to fill out your sig so we know what if anything is done to your truck.

Sounds like you have done somethnig if you have a Big Head on the turbo, so I would think a boost fooler would be a good thing.
Havnet heard of the wireing problem.
Have you had the code reset? if not your truck is probably in limp mode from over boost and wont fuel.

Hope that helps
