Manual Hub Conversion

Is there a conversion kit out there to convert to manual locking hubs? I'm trying to reduce my front end problems. Thanks.

Re:Manual Hub Conversion

Dynatrac DOES NOT have a hub conversion for the 00-02s due to the outer knuckle change. Believe me, I have called them and would have been the first to buy one.

This place supposedly does:

http://www.rightgear.com/welcome.htm

Let us know what they say.

Dieselhead,

Thanks for correcting me, I haven’t personally checked with Dynatrac on this conversion but was told they have the parts to do this conversion. I assumed (that bad word) this information was correct, I do try my best not ever post incorrect information.

What is the difference between the 94-99 and 00-02 Dodge Dana 60 outer knuckles?

Re:Manual Hub Conversion

Hey no problem, I've just been trying hard to find a hub conversion kit for my 02. I havn't compared mine with a pre 00 ram but apparently on the 00 and up, Dodge went with a totally different outer knuckle design which Dynatrac decided not to offer the hub conversion for. :'(

I have a 12 inch lift on mine and reindexed my Tcase and now I need to somehow convert to hubs so the d-shaft is not constantly turning.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/rattlindodge

I have heard that this place offers a conversion:
http://www.rightgear.com/welcome.htm

Cost=$1250
Installation= About 4 hours. Simialar to changing ball joints
ABS= ABS must be disconnected to run this conversion

I have not confirmed this info. so if anyone can call to confirm that this kit will work on our 02s, that would be great ;D
