hey yall i'm a newbie and i know this is the place to find info on trucks. i recently replaced my stock clutch with a SBC FE and now i have to shift at loww rpms to keep it from grinding. transmission shop tried to fix it and he stated that the clutch is releasing all the way. i also had him replace the master and slave cylinder. the truck is still hard to shift and he said i need a rebuilt. but thats the least of my problems. i was driving home today and when i started my truck it seem extra loud and once i jumped on the highway i hit 50 mph in 6th and the truck would no longer accelerate. i pulled over, no major leaks.... i do have a minor oil leak. but the fluids were ok. i also checked the codes and the P 1693 popped up. can anyone please help me on any of my problems. i'd really appreciate it, thanks-Joe

 

Maybe a blown loss turbo/cooler hose?

 

u mean it could just be a hose. i forgot to mention that after driving it 3 min after it got quiet and ran normal. i'm trying to figure out what would have caused it... thanks for the input... i'll check it in the mornin
