I just reached 96,000 on my 2002 4x4 and it drives like a wornout farm truck. I replaced the track bar not to long ago and the the joints look tight but still its all over the road anybody have any ideas.

it could be the gear box needs adjustment....
on top of the gear box, there is an adjustment nut. if you have access to a manual, there are full instructions on how to make the necessary adjustments, if you don't, pm me w/ your email address and I'll send pics of the procedure

Like johnh says try adjusting the input shaft bearing preload. My steering box was bad right out of the factory I took it back a few times under warranty but the dealer didn't fix the problem. In the end I tried adjusting the preload and it did work for a month or so the a week then just driving round the block would free it up so much you could spin the wheel lock to lock with just one flip of the finger. Great for parking or maneuvering but scary on the hiway. A new steering box and a DSS fixed the problem. It's too bad Dodge couldn't fix it.
