Does anyone know where the locking pin is located on a 2002 CTD. I'm in the process of chaning the injector pump and reseting valves.

 

No locking pin.

Remove the blow-by bottle and hose.
Next use mechanics mirror or small screwdriver to find the TDC line on the
fuel pump gear.

Once this mark is straight up the engine is at TDC.

Another way you can get TDC is to rotate engine until you can measure
.010" and .020" lash on the #1 cylinder.
