hello all.just got a 2001 24v 2500 with 175k on it last week.everything seems real solid except when i give it gas up a hill.i can hear the turbo going full bore and what also sounds like the blowoff valve.when i let off the gas i hear the tell tale "woosh" of the blowoff depressurizing the intake and then it just keeps going when i step back on the gas.also happens on the freeway once in a while.it sounds like the turbo is pumping in air and the blowoff is just leaking it back out.i repair cummins marine diesels part of the year for a living(mostly 8.3 ltr c-series) but have little experience with the street motors.is this normal.thanks in advance.
