I get a surging sensation when under light throttle application. Just off idle
under light load. If I stomp on it I can't feel it. No codes , but it's worse
when its cold outside. It also was less noticable when I went from #7 on my
Smarty to the stock program. Could my APPS be wearing out or need to be reset ?

 

if apps is bad a code would be set, maybe an injector/fueling issue?

This happened to my truck as well. I was frustrated as could be because i could not figure it out. During regular maintenance I replaced the air filter and no more problems. Just a thought. Do not overlook the basics.

 

Mine was doing the same thing and was worse when it was colder too, i swapped a Timbo APPS in and problem solved. Mine too wouldn't throw any codes.

 

I cleaned my AEM Dry-Flow filter and it has reduced the surging about
80 % , just barely noticable now. Thanks for the help.
