Lately I have noticed a surge while drive my truck under a light load, crusie speed. I don't notice anything while I am accelerating or decelerating just when the truck has reached crusing speed and is maintaining speed. It seemed to be really bad today, I could really feel it in the truck even. I have noticed it in the past a little, it almost feels like your hitting small bumps in the road. It will do it with or without the smarty installed.

I don't know why but for some reason I feel that it could be caused by my CP3? Has anyone ever experienced this type of problem, it really make the truck annoying to drive.

Any help would be great!!!

The surge you describe I experience when I use the power puck on 60hp level. Off or on 90 hp level, I get no surge at all.

It may be your Juice... I really don't know, it is just a guess based on my experience with the puck.

 

Mine did a similar thing when under light acceleration. They replaced the cp3 and it still did it, but when they replaced the wiring harness, it was fixed. My mpg's improved also.

Mine did this too, i still have no idea why. i have tried different sw#'s on the smarty with and without the mp-8. sometimes it does it, most of the time it doesnt. it seems random to me
