lift pumps again
What is the general consensus on the best lift pumps and sources of supply. Mine is almost 6 years old, pressure is starting to fall. Cummins, NAPA, Holly??

I installed a holly Blue and it works great. Be sure to adjust the spring pressure to get from the stock pressure of 8PSI to what we need of 14 to 15 PSI.

Not to knock the HOLLEY, but if you have gotten 6 years out of your lp, put in another one just like it. They have improved them some from the 99 original version. If you start changing to anything other than stock, you will have to change lines & fittings as well. I am using a Carter 4601 pump, which will bolt right in the same place as your stock pump. you will however have to re-rig the hoses a little, but it is no big deal. The 4601 has 18 PSI. I also wired it to an ignition hot wire so it had at least a constant 12 volts, all the time. The way the stock wire plug works with the ECM, it varies voltage by demand for fuel. You can change the LP yourself easily too. Just remove the fuel filter canister(2 bolts) & lay it down. You can then get right to the LP. It is an easy swap out, especially if you stay stock. GOOD LUCK!!
