Lift pump replacement

Hey guys, I have a relative that bought an 01 HO a couple days ago. I told him about the weak lift pump problems etc... and he wants to know what the best replacement for it would be. What brands/type of lift pumps are you guys running or what would you recommend as a permanent fix? Thanks
Dan

FASS or Fass's HPFP are the way to go! i've tried putting a band aid on it by using a stock like carter as a pusher in conjunction with the stock pump and its nice at first but it slowly starts goin downhill pressure wise. The FASS or HPFP (FASS has filters and actually seperates out air for around 200 more than the HPFP) both will give some rock solid fuel pressure. mine used to move from 20 at idle down to 10 or 8 sometimes WOT with the pusher, now its 17 idle and cant budge below 14.5 or so WOT. I have the HPFP 150 GPH... idk which is better, 95 or 150 but i figured if they were the same price, why not go bigger?! lol hope this helps some! there are many vendors, DPP, ATS are the 2 i remember now but theres more. look around for price though. later

I am having problems finding a campaign pump, and the dodge carter is $170, so I decided to get a walbro pump and build the rest myself. I can't pay $400 for a glacier system, and the pump itself is only $115 or so. I plan to use nylon 3/8" line, the problem is I have to drop the tank for the return line and the tank is full, 34 gals. A bit heavy... haven't figured out what to do yet.

I went with a Holley Blue pushing into the stock pump, its about the cheapest option and available at most places that sell Holley performance items.

I have had my full FASS 150 on for several weeks now - smoother idle, slightly better fuel economy, it's top dollar on the options but appears to be worth the money. The 6-year warranty is nothing to laugh at either...
