Labor Hours to replace tranny...
I did a search and could not find this info.
To keep the story short I had the tranny go out in my 99. I quickly ordered a reman from Phoenix Hard Parts (Rebuilt Transmissions). I got the tow/drag version since I haul a 28' toyhauler. I also purchased the extended warranty where they pay you $35 an hour to take out and replace the tranny should anything go wrong. Of course I put the tranny in and it was bad!! Now I have to send them a bill for how many hours it took to take it out and put it back in but I wanted to find out what the book hours were before I do this. Any info would greatly appreciated, I see there are alot of people with access to these guides.

Don't know what the flat rate is, but the guys at Goerends (of actual removeal/install time), was 4hrs. Had them replace some lines, rear main seal, and both output shaft seals on the T-case. So they had a little more time in it than that.
Thanks guys thats helps alot! I just wish I wasn't the one who had to do it. When all is said and done I don't know that I will ever be able to trust an auto tranny the same. Thanks again guys.
