Jerking under load
Jerking under load
While on a recent vacation trip I was towing my 9500 pound 5th wheel up the TN hills and while running about 70 mph the truck would give a sudden jerk the continue on. I thouht the jerk was comming from the torque converter but the rpms never changed like it does when the trans slipps and the trans temp set on 180 degrees and never moved. The truck was under a steady load climbing hills each time it happened if it was a gas burner I would have thought it had a misfire in the engine. I have an edge EZ-box on the truck with a big line fuel kit and the fuel pressure light never came on or flickered. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I puzzled.
could be a timing issue ,when I had a ez edge on my truck it did the same thing,my frinds edge comp did the same, not bad mouthing any product, but have never had a edge box that I liked, put one on my dads 04 and it jerked around somthing awfull ,I would pull the ez,and see what happens
