Its DONE! finally

Finally got done with my new head swap, BHAF, DD2's and turbo upgrade (HX35/40) and new intercooler boots. It runs sooooooo good. Sure does smoke more too. For boost I was seeing about 22 psi before now it's 32.
I think egt's are going to be a slight problem cause I can hit 1200 easy now
. I did a little painting and it looks pretty good. There will be a picture in my gallery as soon as it approved.

Thanks alot,
I didn't get time to work on the valve cover (remove dodge lettering, buff it up and, paint CTD and ridges in blue). Outerware will be here on wed. Gonna paint the bed this summer and that will hopefully that will the truck looking good for the TOM nomination . I drove it home yesterday (100 miles) stopped 3 times to check coolant and oil levels which were all good. Egt's were running around 700 crusing @ 75-80 mph. I am thinking of backing off the turbo master a bit to see if that will help with the egts. A full 4in exhaust would really help.

I am really looking forward to my trip to Pleasanton, Ne to get my horses over easter and see how she does pulling a trailer, I think I am really going to like it! OH! and smoking the crap out of my brother and dad .

Looks good! Did you get those parts powder coated or did you just spray paint them?

Yeah a larger exhaust would probably help your EGTs. Also it's going to sound WAY better!

Sorry to get off topic, but did the sheetmetal between the BHAF and the turbo help to keep things a bit cooler on EGT?
The paint looks great!!

I have to ask! I like the BHAF you have!! Where did you get it, and what does it use for filters? I have a drop in K&N, do you know if there would be an improvement?

Thanks Bob

Do a search for BHAF and read alot. The numbers are listed in the tech facts.

Truck looks good man ! Gotta ask, what brand of tires are you running? How do you like 'em, and how many miles on 'em?.....I need new tires, but the Michelins LTX M/S which are on there now are $$$....I like 'em though.

The 235/85/16 tires on my truck 2yrs ago in the gallery are general ameritrac's which I have given me really good service, still running them on the back. I can usually get about 65-75k out of a set, but I run'em down to slicks on the back. Right now I am going with Dunlop radial rover at's on the front and will be getting them on the back in a few weeks. They are a little narrower than the generals and shouldn't touch on the back. I am getting 4 mounted and balanced for $450.
