I need some ideas. When I'm driving my truck will lose power and won't build boost, most the time if I down shift it will clear itself out and run fine again. This will happen very intermittently. I drove on a 300 mile trip and it happened once, other times I can drive 20 miles and it will happen 10 times. I just got a EGT and Fuel pressure gauge but need to hook them up.

Also where can I find a stock boost elbow I went to Dodge but they want to try to sell me the whole turbo for a five dollar part ? I was going to unplug my EZ to see if it was causing it, but don't want to take it off with the boost fooler on it.

I checked for codes this morning for the 1st time ever, do they clear out after sometime or stay until reset? anybody have and ideas lp,vp44, boost sensor?
