Interesting eBay item: VP44

It's a "rebuild kit" for the VP, $50 bucks. I found by searching that a guy on here "my3sonsracing" did a rebuild on his, and it lasted him a year, then the electronics went out. If, by checking my codes, and determining that it is more than likely mechanical failure...would this item be worth looking into? It would at least buy me some time, since I don't have 1100 bucks to blow on a pump right now.

Yeah, it's been bad for a lil while now. but I've heard that o-rings can deteriorate and cause internal leakage and cause problems, so I thought maybe it might help.

I think a lot of the pump failures had to do with hard parts failing- bearings and such. Lots of reman VP44 ads claim to have a newer version of case too. I'm not convinced that this seal kit would help very many people.
