injectors question

what are some of the signs that the injectors are worn or they are clogged? i try to run lucas through the tank at least once a month and then usually a bottle of the power service with cetane booster and it seems to be lately that my mpg's are going down....i live in oklahoma and back in september into october i was getting between 14.5 to 15.0 mpg, but since then its a fight to get it over 13.8 .... any ideas???

check your filters, even the pre-filter in the tank. may help with mileage. also was it cold when you started it up and saw the white smoke? its usual normal to see white smoke on start up when cold but i disappears when warmed up.

I usually have my truck plugged in and even if not it never blows white smoke unless I leave it unplugged and don't let it "wait to start" and I just try to start it then it runs rough and chugs black and white smoke.
