in the morning when i start my truck it surges at an idle til it start to warm up. it only seems like it does it after it has set for at least 8 hrs. no rpm change on the tach and the only codes are p0234 & p1693 any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

sounds like air when my lift pump started acting up I had similar issues.at times when I let it sit for days during our heavy snows it took alot to start and would stall when I got running and warmed up was fine.new lift pump from napa cured it all till next time then its a FASS.

 

thanks alot for the info i will check the lift pump. i know the fuel pressure is good when warm, it is about 15psi at idle and 10psi at 3000rpm. so im sure it is something simple
