This tuesday I am dropping my tranny.(auto) I am mechanically inclined/interested...well I flat out don't trust mechanics. I have had good ones in the past but being in the military, I am always moving. I Have a good work shop with lifts that I can use and a tranny jack. I have a general idea of what to do but I haven't been able to find a step by step or pics anywhere. I believe I blew my flex plate out, not sure but it just makes sense. Truck still runs and moves normal but it makes a really loud noise coming from the trans, it smooths out with throttle, but you can still make out a small scratching sound. Anyways I have an ATS (love them) Billet FP and I am trying to put it in after work so I can get back on the road. Any pics, organized info, or links would be very helpful. Thanks guys!
