Latest intercooler knowledge, need to buy . . .

He guys, some of you may have seen my "Deer" thread in the 12v section, but I'm in need of a charge air cooler (intercooler) among other things due to a deer collision.

The stocker is bent and I was probably near the limits of it anyway. I've made 70psi at the manifold with this setup and would like to buy the best thing reasonable, and by reasonable I mean not an air/water deal for racing only.

All my searches netted less than satisfying results, but one thread was talking about some new tests that BD was doing to compare theirs with others.
If anyone has any good info regarding the most robust and efficient designs I'm all ears. I took my truck all apart today, and I'd like to start ordering parts as soon as the insurance company sends the check.

I've read about the Banks blems, and I don't think that I want to go that route just because I would like to get the best one I can buy (you never know what I might eventually do)

On that same note, I need a grille. Can anyone speak for the quality of the aftermarket offerings compared to the factory unit. I really don't want to step down in quality, but the factory unit was quoted but the body shop at like $350.

Thanks,
Phill

Yeah, as for the ratings for pressure, that's all good, but I'm mostly interested in flow capacity and heat exchange capacity . . . If they are making one for diesel use I'd hope that they were high pressure rated.

Thanks though

Its more of finding the best price on an intercooler. They all are pretty efficient when looking at aftermarket ones.
