I can't get the lower ball joint out

The bolt is too long on the clamp and trying to press it out with the bolt up through the hole where the upper ball joint was puts it at such an angle that it won't budge it. Plus this huge kit don't have a tube that will fit to press thru. So trying to use one big enough makes the tube sit at an angle too. Help.

try using a socket to push the joint thru. if it won't budge, draw the press up as tight as you can, smack the outer housing with a hammer and then use a big punch whack the top of the joint until it gives.

Not sure it would work on the dodge but on my honda where the balll joint was right up against the spindle and no room for the ball joint tool I used and impact rivet gun as I saw on a youtube vedio and it punched it out ED

I finally got it! Had to tighten press as tite as i could get it, hit housing with a sledge....nothing, hit it with a punch......nothing, add some heat to the housing....nothing, hit it with a punch again and it finally gave. Then do it all over again and again. Thanks for the help. Still gotta do the drivers side.
