Where is the IAT on a 01 HO CTD. I havn't looked real hard but from the pictures describing it I found the MAP sensor.
FWIW I was getting 20+ mpg with mine. The worse I ever got was around 8 pulling a 33' sailboat (14,000 lbs) from Georgia to New Orleans doing 80-85 mph.

What is the IAT Sensor?
A ir

Sensor... It tells the computer how warm/cold the air is entering the engine...
If you keep your tach under 2K (or 65 MPH) you will get better than 20+ MPG

20MPG highway, 16-17 City. This is driving like an old lady on her way to church. Normal day to day 17 highway, 15 city. Awhile back I saw an article in some magazine that talked about wind drag. It also tested a Dodge 2nd gen truck. Best fuel milage was with a toneu cover, next was with tailgate down, then with tailgate off and in last place was with a cap. Mirrors make a differance,The mirrors on meant a loss off half of a percent of MPG.

For a 2500, two wheel drive it sounds a bit on the low side. You must have a heavy foot
