Hey guys i was planning to change the fliud in my auto trans tomorrow and didn't know how much ATF+3 fluid to get. Plus does it have to be right from mopar. Thanks for any help.

 

ATF +3 with Lubegard black or straight ATF +4 works. Doesn't have to be from Mopar. I think Valvoline is supposed to be a good +3.

 

I just did mine the other day I bought 6 liters of Amsoil and ended up needing another liter. I did the band adjustment at the same time, mine was so Far out of adjustment it was not funny, BTW you MUSTcheck the oil level (if you did not know this) in NEUTRAL NOT Park, otherwise it You might think its full when infact it is not, I learned the hard way, checked it in Park then in neutral and found it was a Quart low, This was when I bought it no telling how long it had been low.

 

All right I picked up 6 quarts of Valvoline atf+4. I think i may go pick up two more just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the help.
