how to hook up vulcan fuel pressure tester (dumb question)

Hey y'all, I'm going to look at a '01 soon and this is probably a really dumb question but how exactly do you go about hooking up this fuel pressure gauge? I'm thinking you use the test port on the vp, then does the end of the hose just screw on and then you fire her up? I'll be honest, I've never seen under the hood of these trucks in person just seen pics on the net. Pics of where on the vp44 to hook into would be nice if ya got 'em. I just don't want to look like an idiot when I try to hook it up on a test drive Thanks!

There are many pics on here of where the test port is. Here is a link that should help when I had the same question... when you remove the schrader cap, make sure you remove the inside part (can't remember what its called).

Good luck and happy truck hunting. Once you start the diesel addiction, its hard to stop....
