location for fuel pressure gauge connector?
After more fun than one person should be allowed to have at -20 C, the fuel isolator is coming out and a needle valve is going in and fuel right to the gauge. Question is, which is the best connector location? Off the fuel filter or vp44 test port?

Hi,
Which test port though? Was reading in the manual that there are 2, one on the fuel filter and the other on the vp. Which would be the best? Man, today we're under a winter storm warning and I need to work on the truck. Not much fun, the boost and exhaust gas gauges are cool to watch. I've only been able to get the egt's up to about 950 or so. Do the older trucks run the egt's cooler? Does it matter that it was -25C outside?
Thanks.
John

Sorry...the one on the filter would be prefilter - not what you want and the one on the Vp-44 and after the fuel filter housing is post filter.
Ive posted these pics a million times before but here they are again:
Obviously on the filter:
On the test port:
Once the engine is up to operating temperature, outside temps dont make a whole lot of difference.
