How hard to change out rearend?

How hard to change out rearend?
I have a 3.54 rearend which is not wonderful to tow my 5th wheel. How hard is it to change out the rearend to a 3.73? Also, where would be a good place to buy?

I've heard it's a chore best left to the professionals.
