the truck in my sig has a slight hesitation, surging with light throttle. anyone know anything i could check, or what the problem might be.

First thing I'd look at is the APPS sensor. There's instructions on how to reset it on here...solved my surging issue before.

thanks for the replies, ill definitley check the apps sensor.

 

mine did the same thing. if it had spark plugs, i'd describe it as a miss under acceleration. finally came to a head when i tapped the brake to d/c the cruise, then it fell on it's face when i got back on the throttle. checked the codes and it indicated apps. read somewhere to punch the throttle pedal 10-12 times hard to the floor (engine off of course) this cleared it up to get me back home, 2 hours away. it has worked fine ever since and i'm ordering a new apps soon
