Good deal. Hopefully this solved the problem. I know my truck is a lot nicer to driver since I did that. Now to get my new spinny thingy.

Have you rechecked your APPS adjustment now that you've run it a few days? I was going to recheck mine and see if there was any change.

I does seems a little quicker on the bottom end. Now to just get the TST in and see how it feels all back together.

No I haven't. I need to. You'll enjoy the TST. Mine lights off a lot harder than before. Before it would just bog through first gear and not pick up until 2nd but now it starts pulling at the top end of first and is hitting 40psi by the time it shifts.

Hello. I know that you all have been talking about other fixes and options, but I figured that I would throw this tid bit in.

I bought a 99 dodge that had the same hesitation being talked about above. Once we found that the upper Turbo Boost hose (I think it was the upper. Its been a while.) had a small hole in it the problem was resolved.

The hole was small enough to hold the boost steady to run the motor, but if you romped on the gas, The turbo took longer to build boost due to the hole thus causing the motor to miss.

98.5 - 02 trucks were very common to develop leaky turbo boost hoses.
