Help oil pressure sensor socket size

I have a 99 diesel and the oil pressure sensor went bad. I bought a new one from the dealer and I'm changing it now. The new sensor takes an 1 1/16" deep socket, but the old one seems to be bigger. What size is needed for the oem sensor? I need to buy the socket so I don't want to guess.

Yup 1 1/4" deep works! I did notice that the hole in the old sensor was like a 1/4" hole and the new sensor has a 1/8" hole. Is that how the new sensors are or did the dealer give me the wrong part? part#05012991AD

Couldn't tell you what the dodge part number is, I won't buy parts from them.

Call me aloof, conceited, stand-offish if you will, I just cannot deal with them.

I generally buy all my engine related parts at a cummins dealer.

My sensor I replaced with a cummins part, it was different looking but the same 1 1/4" dia. I hope you didn't pay more than about $115.00 for it!
