HELP! Can't Start up 24v
HELP! Can't Start up 24v
Got a serious problem here. Installed a Juice/Att, truck fired right up, then stopped itself after half minute running.
Then we bleeded the fuel lines lines. started again, after a while it quit running again.
Now when we bleed all inj lines, only line #3 will pour diesel, (while the lift pump is working at 12psi), starting or none starting makes no difference. is that normal? or a shot inj pump?
BTW, had the truck for about a month had no hard starting problems before. no dead pedal eiher.
whats y'all peoples suggestion?
thanks a lot for any help

Injectors shouldn't pour out fuel when the Lp is running. I would stop cranking the engine before you get hydraulic lock and really bust something. It sounds like your IP is bypassing internally through that injector... Just a guess, I'm no injection system expert....
it was a dead vp44. put on another one and everything is fine now. this was on a 98.
but still have a hard starting problem with a cousins 2000.... i think he looses prime, but cant find the problem.
