Head Bolt Torque

Does anybody know the correct method and sequence for the head bolts on a 2001?

The last I heard was 77 foot lbs PLUS 1/4 turn
Max bolt length is 5.200 in.

I assume that tightning in a circular pattern is correct?

Re:Head Bolt Torque

According to my trusty manual, you start from the center bolts and work outwards, alternating side to side, and frontwards and backwards. Also, if you've removed the bolts, make sure they fit into the capscrew length guage that's provided with the head gasket. Replace any that are too long.

Oh I forgot, torque to 77 ft. lbs., and the max bolt length is 5.200 inches measured from under the head to the end.
