Under load, the FP goes to 0-2 psi. The dealer says that is fine . I know it is not, but what can I do? The dealer says there is no "under load" test specs for the pump. The only test spec they have is idle FP, mine is 9-10 psi and they say that is fine.

It still bugs me that this thing dead pedaled on me 2x. That tells me that the VP or the LP is failing or both. Should I go right to Cummins with it? Will they work on it? Do they have access to the warranty info? I have a large Cummins service center nearby. I go there to buy oil and such, I have seen numerous motorhomes in there for service, but only on occasion have I seen a pickup or 2 in there.

Kind of not sure what to do here.

9 or under.....personally I wouldn't and don't have a prob with that reading.

I have fass pumps on the 2 24Vers and lost a VP 2 weeks ago. the 0216 code popped its head up 6 months back and it ran ok but could not tow with it because of lack of power . I installed a bluechip VP hoping it will go longer then 100k the pump change was real easy and only took 3 hrs .if you get stuck with a bill try doing it your self.

I picked up a Holley Blue pump today for $100 at Checker and will install it this weekend. I plan to plumb it right inline with the existing lift pump and run it on a seperate relay triggered by the LP power. Looks like all I will need is about 2 ft of 3/8 rubber fuel line, clamps and some 3/8 npt barb fittings for the pump.

Does anyone have a link to a Holley Blue pump install on an '02 CTD?

Hopefully this does away with popping the 216 code or my VP dies while still within warranty.
