h2 wheels

h2 wheels

just got a set of h2 wheels since i heard that they fit and guess what nope they dont the hub on the rim is to small any suggestions on how to enlarge the hub hole? and yep i thought of taking them to a machinest and im still looking the last one wanted 45+ per rim. looking for suggestions or maybe someone knows of another shop in denver area that can do the job? thanks

Read here. Youre on the right track with the machining. But they can be done by hand at home. I believe some have used a routing tool to do it.

I did 5 of them in less then an hour and half, the first took the longest with a flush cut router bit. carbide and a litter wd40 or kerosene. the front side has a lower area that acts as a guide for the bit. ED

Great looking wheels on a fine looking truck! That photo looks like it was shot in Baja. I can see the Agave's in the background and the junk cars.

Just get a straight router bit with the little wheel on the end. Turn the wheel over and place the router on the bolt mount surface. Lower the bit until the wheel rests even with the inner lip (it's about 1/8" outside the inner lip) and route away. Slower is a little better as far as speed goes. Here's my writeup:

Did you have to modify the stock caps to get them to fit with the H2s?
