Got a question????
My truck doesn't like to start after it's been sitting for 15 to 30 min. The engine just cranks for a bit, but the next time I try it, it fires right up. It just started yesterday.
Thanks

i know this sounds crazy bu take your fuel cap off and if it hisses when you do then put it back on but don't tighten it down just let it sit there. i had the same problem with mine, i did this and it fixed the problem. I also replaced the banjo check valve on the side of the vp-44 it was a 30$ part that did not fix the problem but some guys reported it fixing theirs. basically you either have a small leak in your fuel system and you gotta try different things to find it. like i said before, mine was caused by a faulty fuel cap that was causing a vaccum to form in the tank and pull the fuel away from the vp-44 when not running causing the hard start. good luck.

If it sits for 15 min. or so it cranks for alittle while. I will stop cranking and let the pump run till it kicks off and then if fires right up. I don't have a pressure gauge yet, and there is no codes. I've been trying to hunt down a leak in the lines somewhere. It has to be a small one cuz wow its hard to find one.
