I have recently bought the fuel pressure guage kit from glowshift for my 2001 dodge cummins and was wondering if anyone out their has this product and could tell me where they put their pressure sensor? I have the sensor on my vp but still dont get any kind of reading. i have sent the guage back thinking it was bad and it is fine. the sent me a new senser and i have since then put it on and still have had no luck. Any suggestions?

 

where on the VP? feed line banjo bolt?

 

yes i replace the banjo bolt that has the gauge hook up with a new banjo bolt that they sent with my gauge kit.

 

I have had glowshifts on 3 trucks and they all worked fine. On a 12 valve I put it on the feed line banjo bolt on the P7100 pump, On two 24 valves I put it on the top of the filter canister at already threaded openings.

 

take the wire that goes on the sender (if it has only 1 wire) tap it to ground quickly, dont leave it on ground very long. have someone watch and see if the needle moves.
