Glowshift Guages???
Is anyone out there running these???? They can be purchased from the manufacturer (i think) on ebay for VERY cheap, just wondering if if anyone has some experience with them??
I just ordered three GS gauges today for my '98 (Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, and Tranny Temp). I'll report back in a couple of weeks after I get them installed.
FYI, I ordered directly from their website using coupon code GSPC and got 15% off. Total for the 3 gauges plus a pod and shipping came to $146.

I just installed mine today. They were cheap on ebay. 170 bucks. Three gauge a pillar w/speaker hole, egt, boost, and tranny temp. The egt is the only one I have hooked up so far. No complaints with that. The boost only reads up to 40 psi. They do come however pretty complete, (with the thermocouple). Not a bad deal and you can change the backlight colors.

I currently have them wired to the ignition. There is a way to wire them so that they will remember the color you have them set to. And I think you could easily modify that to incorporate the dimmer. The directions say to have one wire go to the ignition and one to the battery. (for the color memory) If you wire the ignition to the dimmer I think it would dim with the lights.

I ordered a set for my 06...after talking with a tech on the phone he told me that none of the 7color gauges are capable of dimming, also if you do hook it up to the dimmer switch it will damage the gauge...im using the dash pod and plan on putting in a seperate switch for the gauge lights...i got boost 0-60, egt 0-2400, and fp 0-100, and the dash pod for 185 shipped using the discount code (gspc) Blastchamber provided, saved me like 30 bucks....thanks!!!!
I'm glad the code worked for you, redeye. It's always nice to save some $$.
You're correct about these gauge lights not being dimable. The gauge mechanicals and lighting receive power off the same wire, so I'm not sure how you will be able to control the lighting with a switch.
I haven't had time to install my gauges yet, but did hook them up to a 12-volt power supply to see how bright they are. I think they will be OK without a dimmer as they didn't appear obnoxiously bright. I'm hoping to have them hooked up by the end of the month.

I wish I had that code when I bought mine!!! I still got a decent deal though. The brightness isn't too bad. You can change the color to red so as to not affect your night vision....oooo James Bondish! If you wire them right they should remember the last color you left em on too.
