Fuel question

I'm getting 13.5 mpg bone stock and I was getting 15.0. I had lift pump replaced right at a year ago. The truck runs great best I know. Never blows smoke and never have any troubles, starts fast and I change my fuel filter every other oil change. I run mostly city and don't haul but once in a blue moon. I run either power service or Lucas additive once a month and drain the water in fuel every fuel change. And I have never had the C.E.L. Light come on and never have any codes show up when I run the key on/off check.

Any ideas why my fuel mileage sucks and any and all info on fueling system will help I know the stock lp is a weakness.

Some maintenance procedures that may improve fuel economy include cleaning the IAT sensor and resetting the APPS. Instructions for both should be in the tech facts section here.

A fuel pressure gauge is essential but not really related to mpg. Some of the mpg drop could be related to winter blended fuel if your in a colder climate.

Depending on where you live, winter fuel can drop mileage 3-4 MPG. I have 2 years worth of MPG figures, and it clearly shows when they start winter fuel, and when they stop.

Sounds like me although in the year I've owned the truck I've never gotten better than 15.2mpg, I just ran the apps reset and hoping that works. Any signs that the reset works or just hit an miss ?
