I have a problem to what I think is refered to as dead pedal but not sure(pedal loses power at a certain rpm and no matter how far I push the pedal it only goes to that certain rpm but if I push in the clutch or downshift it works right and most of the time it starts working right when I let off the clutch. my question is do you think its the pump or maybe the apps. it has enough fuel presure that my dummy light doesnt come on(set at 8 psi)

 

it sounds like ur apps. try turning ur key off and on three times nd leave it on the third time. code should come up. prob. P0121 if it is ur apps.

 

ive got the same problem.. happened saturday on the free way... went to give it some gas and nothing wouldn't go above a grand... check engine lite went on. pulled over turned it off looked the truck over for bout ten min turned the truck back on and worked fine... could it be the injector pump? ive got a 01 6spd.

 

no check engine light and key trick doesnt work on 99

You should recalibrate the apps. If that doesn't work member Timbo has the fix.
