Fuel pump bad?
This weekend, I lifted my truck with Don Thuren's 3" lift, with the help of my wife and a couple of friends. Pics will follow, it looks awesome. One of my friends who helped me has a 2002 2500 short bed with 3.73 rear. The truck is all stock with the exception of a leveling bracket. The truck has 76.5K miles on it. When you get on the skinny pedal, the truck bogs down. The key code shows PCU code P-1693, then says done. When scanned, the ECU produces codes P-0234 Engine Overboost Condition and P-0216 Injection Timing Control Circuit Malfuntion. We think it may be the fuel pump, but not sure. Any suggestions?

Thanks, we'll try the waste gate first, as that is the least expensive. Sometimes one thing can set off multiple codes. If the waste gate fixes it, that'll be great, if not, we'll do the injection pump.
