Fuel pressure gauge splicing
Where do I need to splice in at for my fuel pressure gauge?
I just bought the Autometer Ultra-Lite gauge, and now I am trying to figure out the best place to mount it. I am going to run it into the cab with stainless stell braided line, so I need to get a length for that order...
I know you guys like for an isolator to be used...
where is the best place to buy one of these. I can get one off ebay, but they have the gauge with them, and I got the gauge for $20.00 which is a steal in my book...

Ok you can do it several different ways the best way in my opion is to get on the Genos website and order the banjo bolt with the scrader valve on it. then you can connect steel braded line with a #4 fitting on it. or you can install a "t" in the line between the lift pump and the VP44 where the rubber line is. as far as mounting the guage Genos has a single a pilliar mount or a mount that mounts on the stering colum beside the flaser switch.

Check my gallery. Pictured is the way mine used to be set up before the FASSII. I've still got the Geno's 4/1 banjo kit for sale. That is higher flow banjo bolts, with one of them tapped 1/8"NPT to feed a FP gauge.
IMO, I wouldn't use the schraeder valve off the VP. If you look at the pic of my old banjo bolts, the two silver ones are schraeder valves for testing FP.....not IMO for monitoring it constantly.
