so i replaced the 2 fuel filters,stock and stanadyne, and now i am having problems with my pressure going up and down, i bleed some more air out and it seems to be better, but its pegging the guage at zero sometimes(bouncing), i will try to bleed out more air and see what happens, i hope its not vp44, i just bought this truck and dont know the history, does this just sound like air in the fuel? fp is normally around 10-16, and right below 10 when towing, and i can suck it right down to zero now if i get on the skinny, i drive in the mtns all the time, not always towing and this wasnt happening before the filter change

 

If you have the electric sending unit on your FP gauge it could be going bad.
Or air is getting into the fuel line somewhere.
