How much fuel pressure should be at the top of the filter? I measured mine at 10psi at idle last night, truck has been running sluggish. Problem?

 

Sounds like a dead lift pump. I would get it fixed before the vp44 dies.

 

sounds too low, mine's at 16+ at idle and the lift pump has 100k+ miles on it. Go ahead and relocate it at the same time, it may be the last one you need to buy.

 

This truck has 240k miles on it so I guess it is about time for something to break, which relocation kit and lift pump work best? Vulcan? Bullydog?

 

They all do the same thing, some with more/better fittings, some with hose clamps, some without.
I have a Vulcan and am very pleased with the quality, price and ease of installation.
There was a guy who was selling them on Ebay that looked sweet too, I haven't seen him in a while though, he was at about $150.
