changed my fuel filter a couple of days ago,when I cycled the lift pump twice and started it ran and quit.tried to cycle several times but had to bleed at injector lines. connected a fuel pressure gauge at schrader valve and could not get any reading,tried a different schrader connector from the fuel pressure gauge I haven,t put on yet and still no pressure.I've seen injection pumps pull fuel by themselves but engine performance is usually worse than what I'm experiencing.Any other places to check pressure,shrader valve threaded ?

 

Open your filter cover and bump the starter... If the LP is any good that filter should run over with fuel quickly...

But you not seeing any PSI off the test port you most likely got a bad LP pump!
