fuel lines

okay so i was wondering how many of you out there have had problems with the fuel lines rubbing through back near the tank where they pass between the frame and the tank. I have been worned before about this and now i'm starting to smell diesel once in awhile when i get out of the pickup. going to check em this weekend.

I have only ever heard of it once. Not sure what the conditions were that caused it. IMO, it's not a common occurrence.

I was smelling diesel for several months but saw nothing on the ground. I dropped the stock tank last week to install a 60 gallon replacement and found seepage around the sending unit module connections; In particular, the grommet used for the draw straw connection and the roll-over valve.

thanks for the input guys to my understanding its more of a problem with vehicles driven on gravel because the gravel builds up and causes the issue.
