In my 01 the fuel guage only works to half of a tank so i am gussing that the fuel level arm is out any idea if there is any thing else i shoud replace while i am in there? What is the best way to drop the fuel tank?

 

Only two ways to do it. Drop the tank from under the truck. Or unbolt the bed and tilt it over to access the top of the tank. Not difficult either way, but if you elect to drop it from under, I'd advise running it near empty or draining the tank. Also, if it was me, I'd add Vulcan's Draw Straw while I was in there. BTW, the sending unit is @$60 from Chrysler. HTH
